For how long have you been producing this game?

We are producing Shadows of Kepler since 2017 when Rodrigo Banzato met Herik Campos in a 3d school. So they decided to produce the game in their spare time with the help of other volunteers.

What is the size of the team?

We started with 13 people, but we mantain only 4 today, a producer, a creative director, an art lead and a code lead.

What are your plans for the future with this game?

Our focus is to create a trilogy, three games of Shadows of Kepler. We developed a script for those three games, the script is in production and getting better everyday. When I say script I mean story board like a feature script.

How much time do you need to finish the game and how can I help you guys?

If we're able to work on this project full time, for instance six days a week, we believe we can finish this game in 14 months. We've been wondering to set a Kickstarter campaign, so we can raise funds to work full time to release on Q1 of 2021. All we have in terms of gameplay, trailers, teaser and etc were made in our spare time.

Is this game only in first person? What other games are you focusing to create yours?

Yes it is only in first person view for now, the focus right now is a single player experience, but we are still running some tests to provide you a third person view. Our game is a mix between Resident Evil 7 with Metro Exodus and Fallout 3. We're also grabbing some inspiration in games like Alien Isolation and Dead Space. That is a huge inspiration for us. We want the player to feel the fear. It's not a fast action shooter game. It's a exploration game where you can talk with npcs and make some choices that can change your game experience.

Do you have a publisher?

In 2019 we had lots of contacts in the industry but none of them really helped us to conclude this game, that is why we are setting this Kickstarter thing right now. We decided that we must move on with on our own and do whatever it takes to build the "Shadows of Kepler" universe.

Is this only for PC? If yes, what are the minimum requirements?

For now is PC only, but, we have stretch goals for all the rest of the platforms. I think the stakes are high for Shadows of Kepler to be on PS4 and XBOX ONE. Maybe PS5 , why not?
In terms of settings:
On low graphics settings your PC will require at least a 2GB GeForce GTX 670 / Radeon HD 7870 with a Core i5-2400 3.1GHz or FX-8320 CPU. This will return an average of 30 frames per second. Minimum RAM requirements are 8 GB system memory.

Is this a Steam-only game?

Not sure yet, but we believe a DRM free is welcome. We are open to sell our game in any platform which gives us a fair cut. The idea here is that the players can choose what they want.
